...Cris, why a side of 33 rpm and a side of 45?
"...There were always lots of songs but Ron (Gaskin) and I both wanted our stuff to interest the U.S. market, so we tried to get colored vinyl but it was not available anywhere in Canada at the time so we thought well, these studio tracks are like an old time 45 single release for radio so why not actually make them be 45 rpm... our ideas were always a bit unusual and this just happens to be one of them..."
